Girls Spring Registration
Brookfield Youth Lacrosse is an empowering and dynamic program where girls of all skill levels, from first to eighth grade, can unleash their potential and discover the thrill of the game! With a focus on teamwork, skill development, and fun, players will forge lasting friendships while learning the exciting strategies of lacrosse. Ages
BLA is open to girls in first through eight grade living in and around Brookfield, WI
When
Practices start in March with games starting in April and running through June. You won't want to miss our first annual Brookfield Lacrosse Invitational!
Where
Rookies & 3/4 programs (both boys & girls) will play their games at Canterbury Park.

U12 (grade 5/6) and U14 (grade 7/8) level girls will play their home games at Brookfield East High School.

Practices
All levels, boys and girls practice at Canterbury Park (21005 Coventry Drive Brookfield WI 53005).
Practices are typically 1-2x per week in the evenings.
Games
Games are typically played on the weekends in the Southeastern Wisconsin area. We aim to stay within an hour of Brookfield, WI. We are looking to have some exciting "Friday Night Lights" games when possible and may potentially have a game during the week.
Jerseys
All athletes, including returning players, will need to purchase uniforms this season. Trust us, you will LOVE the new looks!
Volunteer Requirment
All families are required to volunteer at least 4 hours during the season. Opportunities include:-
- Girls Program Volunteer Coordinator
- Team Managers
- BLA Bash planning team (end of year party)
- Coaching / Assistant Coaching
- Brookfield Invitational Opportunities
- Fundraising Committee
- Game Day photography

A $250 deposit will be held at the beginning of the season and will be forfeited should the family not meet the volunteer requirement.
Equipment
The equipment girls use is different than the boys. Typical equipment is:-
- Certified eye protection / goggles
- Lacrosse stick with girl's head
- Mouthguard
- Gloves (Optional)
- Helmet (Optional)

What equipment does my daughter need?
The girls game and equipment needs are different than boys. Scroll up for a listing of the equipment required. If equipment is a barrier for your child to try or continue their lacrosse development. Please let us know. We have partnerships and grant opportunities available.
My child has another activity/sport during the same timeframe. Is that an issue?
We know that family calendars are stretched and choices need to be made. Just like with every sport, we are excited that you'll be making time for your child's development and interests. We welcome you to any and all practices / games that you are able to attend. We have confidence that you and your athlete will fall in love with this sport.
